COMMENTS: An essential for the English cottage garden. It flowers early in the season with papery single or double blooms.This biennial* may self -seed under ideal conditions. Water and feed regularly and will need staking. Hollyhock are prone to rust, an unsightly fungal disease, therefore cut to soil level after blooming. An average soil will help deter soft, disease-prone growth.
