COMMENTS:
When other late summer plants look wilted under the
torrid sun, cleome stand out robust and
strong. Needs room to spread. Blooms late summer to
frost. Withstands drought but does even better when
kept moist. Reseeds invasively, but not always true
to color. Look for unwanted seedlings in early July
as this plant makes an appearance in the heat of
summer.
