desired height, and clip to neaten.
USE:
A tall, informal hedge.
SOIL:
Prefers heavy soils.
COMMENTS:
A long-lived, slow-growing shrub with small
yellow green incidental flowers in the spring. It
coppices strongly and is very suitable for hedges.
The leaves turn yellow
in the fall. Tolerates drought, air pollution and
wind.
