COMMENTS: The narrow, lancelike, 6- to 8-inch foliage is divided pinnately many times and has an airy appearance as a ground-level clump. The flat-topped, 2- to 3-inch terminal clusters of minute florets appear on erect stems carrying some leaves. Any average soil, well drained and in full sun is adequate. Today's cultivars offer a wide range of colors. Can become very invasive. Regular control of unwanted new growth in the spring is essential.
