PRONOUNCED:
uh-NEM-oh-nee BLAN-duh
COMMON:
Greek anemone
April
- Pink, white or blue flowers.
COMMENTS:
Holds its flowers for about a month and so
effective in drifts which should be left
undisturbed. Likes a moist, well-drained, humusy
soil in a dappled semishade. Divide the tubers when
dormant in late summer or install new grouping by
early fall. Soak the wrinkled tubers overnight
after buying new stock to ensure a quicker
response.
