COMMON:
Columbine
May
- Bicolor, purple, red, yellow or white
COMMENTS:
These popular hybrids produce 3- to 4-inch,
mostly long-spurred flowers in bright and unusual
colors. Delicate, pastel colors endure longer if
provided light shade. Do not collect and plant
garden-gathered seeds since it produces highly
erratic results. Well-drained, sandy and constantly
moist soil is preferred.
