COMMENTS: A fascinating plant with tapered, dark-green leaves which vary from 2- to 8-inches long. The leafy stems are covered with clusters of deep rose, bell-shaped flowers. A native to swampy places, it requires a constantly moist, humusy soil. It is totally intolerant of full sun, preferring bright shade.
