COMMENTS: A very special introduction from Sweden's noted plantsman, Tage Hundell. Ideal for exposed, windy sites, north facing walls, drafty low fences, or other difficult places. Bell-shaped nodding flowers with four petals and a central tuft of white staminodes (transformed stamens) half of the length of the petals, are borne on slender stalks on previous year's (old) wood. This sturdy vine produces masses of 1-1/2-inch to 2-inch blooms.
