COMMENTS:
Slow to develop, but once established requires
little maintenance. This sweetly fragranced plant
has been a favorite since the 16th Century. It
thrives in rich, moist, humusy soil. An annual
topdressing of compost is useful. When overcrowded,
the blooms diminish, therefore, division is
needed.
