COMMENTS: Slow to develop, but once established requires little maintenance. This sweetly fragranced plant has been a favorite since the 16th Century. It thrives in rich, moist, humusy soil. An annual topdressing of compost is useful. When overcrowded, the blooms diminish, therefore, division is needed.
