COMMENTS:
This plant offers fragrant, cobalt blue flowers.
The foliage is delicate, and if in a drier setting
will die down for the summer months. It can stay in
leaf all summer if provided rich soil and abundant
moisture. If it does die down after blooming, cut
the foliage off cleanly at soil level and when the
fall rains start, new short foliage will emerge and
stay through a mild winter. This plant benefits
from being divided every few years. It spreads by
small rhizomes.
