COMMENTS: A very fragrant introduction from the Allwood Brothers nursery in England. This is a hardy hybrid between the old fashioned garden pink and the perpetually flowering carnation, with 1-1/2 inch wide, double or single blossoms on multibranched stems. Capable of reblooming if regularly dead headed or cut for the vase. Well-drained soil enriched with compost or humus is needed, and a light winter mulch.
