COMMENTS: Long, arching sprays of 1-inch, heart-shaped flowers with white tips gracefully complement the large, light green much divided leaves. It prefers light, constantly moist, average soil. If in direct sunshine, the foliage will wither into dormancy immediately after blooming. In the shade, the attractive foliage remains until the fall frost. Morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. Left undisturbed, a single clump can live for 15+ years.
D.spectabilis 'Gold Heart'. The new foliage is red, turning bright golden yellow, then lime green as it matures.
