COMMENTS: Its plumed, amethyst-blue flowers with pincushion centers are unique and very long lasting and equally long-lasting in the vase. The serrated, prickly foliage is blue-green. Any part of the plant can be dried for decorative use indoors. Provide a moderately dry, light, rich, sandy soil. Once established, this plant does not like to be disturbed.
