COMMENTS:
The stiff and erect stems are held above large
lobed leaves, which are deeply incised and toothed.
The tiny, feathery, peach pink flowers form a
handsome, clustered panicle and are quite
breathtaking. If the foliage deteriorates in
summer, cut the plant back hard to promote new
growth. Prefers very moist, deep, rich soil. Plant
as many as space allows. Suggested cultivars:
F. rubra 'Magnifica', 4 ft. with bright pink
blooms.
F. rubra 'Venusta', 6 ft. x 4 ft with dark
pink blooms.
