COMMENTS: Hardy geraniums continue to gain popularity among gardeners who are looking for low maintenance plants. Not only do they produce lovely flowers in a wide variety of colors, but they also have varied growing habits to suit gardeners in almost any climate. Vigorous in sunny borders or at the edges of woods. The leaves of g. sanguineum are very hairy, lacy, and 7-parted. Large quantities of saucer-shaped, 1-1/2 inch vivid blossoms remain for most of the summer. Adaptable to almost any well-drained, moist soil.
