COMMENTS:. A genus of deciduous and evergreen shrubs grown for their abundant, pealike flowers. This broad, rounded shrub sports erect bright green stems with leaves of a similar shade. Showy bright yellow flowers tinged with red, are borne abundantly along the stems in late spring to early summer, before the leaves emerge.
